The current generation of BMW’s 7-Series flagship sedan is about to enter its second year on the market. The range has been expanded with a plug-in hybrid as well as some performance models with as much as 600 horsepower on tap.
Another car approaching 600 hp is Jaguar’s F-Type SVR which we recently drove. It’s pricey at $126,945 but still a bargain considering its combination of good looks, performance and luxury. Now see it how it fared in our first drive review.
Destined to do battle with the F-Type SVR will be a new sports car from Mercedes-AMG. It’s called the GT R, and it’s the hardcore version of the Affalterbach tuner’s GT sports car. It’s just been teased ahead of its world debut next week at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
You’ll find all of these stories and more in today’s car news, right here at Motor Authority.
