Our spy photographers caught the 2018 Audi A8 and 2018 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 undergoing testing; there’s now a 727-horsepower Ford Mustang that undercuts the Dodge Challenger Hellcat’s price; and “Top Gear” released a new trailer, while the former hosts announced the name of their new show. It’s the Week in Reverse, right here on Motor Authority.
A new 2018 Audi A8 prototype has been spotted for the first time testing on public roads. The design is clearly influenced by the new A4 and Prologue concept. Expect the new A8 to be revealed later this year or early next and hit the streets in 2017.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May finally announced their new show on Amazon will be called “The Grand Tour.” Set to debut later this year, the trio will be filming out of a tent instead of a studio, while traveling the world for different backdrops.
The new “Top Gear” is almost here with its seven hosts, and a new extended trailer was released this week. Showcasing burnouts, fast cars, and, of course, plenty of adventure, the new show will prove interesting, if nothing else.
An Ohio dealership is selling a 727-horsepower Ford Mustang for only $39,997. If this sounds like a Hellcat slayer to you, then you’re correct. The term value is stressed here. While not factory built, the cars are GT models with Roush upgrades.
We spied the upcoming 2018 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 this week performing hot laps around the Nürburgring. Less than a day later that car crashed into the wall, hard. Luckily for us, it was all caught on camera.
