Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept, 2016 Monterey Car Week
Cadillac has surprised pretty much everyone with its Escala concept that was unveiled overnight in Monterey, California. The stunning sedan is based on the CT6 platform and is widely tipped to be entering production as a new flagship for the brand. It also signals the athletic new look future Cadillacs will adopt.
Another concept unveiled in Monterey was the BMW 2002 Hommage. This is an updated version of a BMW concept we saw earlier in the year. It was built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 02 Series of coupes and is based on the M2 platform.
Yet another new concept in Monterey is a massive coupe from Mercedes-Maybach. The concept features a slippery shape inspired by the aero coupes of the past century and is powered by four electric motors with a combined 738 horsepower.
