Ferrari World Finals Coming to Daytona in 2016

Daytona International Speedway will host the Ferrari World Finals in North America, a four-day event showcasing the most exciting corners of the Ferrari world. Much in the vein of the Porsche Rennsport Reunion that came to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this year, the Ferrari World Finals is a celebration of all things Ferrari from historic cars to modern day metal.

Ferrari has in the past held its World Finals in Italy, Abu Dhabi, and the UAE. The event at Daytona, scheduled for December 1-4, will be the first-ever running of the World Finals in North America. “A relationship of close cooperation has been established between Ferrari and this historic racetrack over many years,” said head of Attività Sporting GT and Corse Clienti Antonello Coletta, in a statement. “[The World Finals] is a further development of this already established relationship.”

Like the Rennsport Reunion, the Ferrari World Finals will feature both displays and runnings of past and present Formula 1 race cars as well as road cars. Scuderia Ferrari drivers like Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastien Vettel will be on hand, offering hot laps (like the one we received at the U.S. Grand Prix), as well as pit stop demonstrations. Ferrari’s exclusive XX program will also have a presence at the event.

Historically, Ferrari has also put on a world debut at the World Finals, with wild FXX K appearing last year. With the backdrop of the Ferrari Challenge World Championship full of 458 Challenge EVOs, expect something special to appear alongside the new Ferrari F12tdf.
