The flagship sedan for Hyundai’s new Genesis standalone luxury division will list from nearly $70,000 when it hits the market later this month.
Prices start at $69,050 for the entry-level, twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6-powered Genesis G90 and top out at $73,150 for the range-topping, V-8-powered model with all-wheel drive.
We recently sampled the G90 and walked away rather impressed.

Genesis has created a four-tier lineup with no options. Here’s a look at the pricing breakdown, which includes a mandatory $950 destination charge:
- Genesis G90 3.3T Premium with rear-wheel drive: $69,050
- Genesis G90 3.3T Premium with all-wheel drive: $71,550
- Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate with rear-wheel drive: $70,650
- Genesis G90 5.0 Ultimate with all-wheel drive: $73,150
That’s not a particularly big spread, especially since the V-8-powered 5.0 Ultimate adds full LED headlamps and a downright decadent rear seating package that includes 14-way power (for the rear right seat) and 12-way power (for the rear left seat) adjustability with memory and ventilation.
The 3.3T Premium isn’t exactly poverty spec, either, since it includes Nappa leather seating surfaces, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 17-speaker Lexicon audio system, and automatic emergency braking as standard.
Those prices undercut traditional European competitors like the BMW 7-Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but are about $15,000 more than an entry-level Cadillac CT6.
Also, all Genesis models include the automaker’s Genesis Experience package with valet servicing and scheduled maintenance for the first three years of ownership.
