Acura spent about two months restoring Luda’s Legend, attempting to return it to its original factory condition — albeit with a few choice modifications. The car now rides on 18-inch Rays wheels, as well as upgraded brakes (six-piston front calipers, four-piston rear), and H&R lowering springs. A new Pioneer sound system adds Apple CarPlay support, and feeds two Alpine Type-12 subwoofers mounted in the trunk.
“Seeing the car that has been such a big part of my life brought back to beyond its original condition was a real gift,” Ludacris said in a statement.

Well-known tuning firm Galpin Auto Sports also spent some time dressing up a 2016 Acura ILX sedan for the SEMA show. A new front bumper with a splitter, a new rear diffuser with Japanese-style foglights, a new exhaust, new trunklid spoiler, and 19-inch wheels transform the entry-luxury sedan’s appearance. To match the Sunburst Yellow exterior scheme, the car’s interior receives gold contrast stitching for its Katzkin leather seats.

For buyers who want some flair without going to the extremes of Galpin’s car, Acura also offers a wide range of dealer-issued accessories. As shown on a Slate Silver 2016 Acura ILX, the accessory range includes an aerodynamic kit comprising a front splitter, side skirts, and rear spoilers; a new trunklid spoiler; 18-inch alloy wheels; all-season floor mats; illuminated door-sill plates; chrome door trim pieces; LED foglights; and a remote-starter kit.
