Yes, there’s a new “Bandit” Trans Am, and it’s even been approved by the Bandit himself, actor Burt Reynolds. The car was created by Trans Am Depot using a donor Chevrolet Camaro, and just 77 examples will be built, each bearing Reynolds’ signature.

Nissan has released a video showing its “Takumi” expert crafters working on the engine for the 2017 GT-R. The Takumi’s strength is their ability to sense things machines may miss. It’s impressive to see what goes into building each of these monster mills.

Another car with a monster of an engine is the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Yesterday, we were treated with the surprise unveiling of the convertible version. It will go on sale early next year while the coupe arrives towards the end of this year.
