Nissan Rogue goes Hybrid, Next-gen Mercedes SL, TDI engineer pleads guilty: What's New @ The Car Connection

Nissan will spread its hybrid technology to another model in its lineup for the 2017 model year, in the form of the Nissan Rogue Hybrid.

 

A couple of weeks ago, Uber unleashed a fleet of fully autonomous Volvo XC90s in Pittsburgh. Though humans will be paid to keep the driver’s seats warm–at least for now–the SUVs are expected to do most of the driving themselves.

 

Nissan has announced a recall of more than 120,000 cars and crossovers from the 2015, 2016, and 2017 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that some of those vehicles may be prone to catch fire.

Almost a year after news of Volkswagen’s emissions cheating broke, an engineer pleaded guilty to charges related to the diesel scandal.
