Looking to appeal to well-heeled individuals who made their success in the tech industry, RM Sotheby’s New York auction returns for 2015 under the headline of “Driven by Disruption.” Each of the cars breaks with convention in some way, including those with rulebreaking design or innovative engineering. Here are some of the more interesting cars up for auction in December.

Siata 208S Spider Side

The auction includes blue-chip collectibles like the 1938 Bugatti Type 57 Atalante and the 1954 Siata 208S Spider. Siata was known for lightweight construction that housed high-revving Fiat V-8 engines. This particular Siata was bodied by legendary constructor Michelotti, and sold to an Italian owner who brought the car to the U.S. the following year. The Siata made its way to different owners before settling with the current owner, who kept it for 27 years.

The sale also features a supremely rare and desirable 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, which has seen an expansive concours history, including 1st in Class finishes at Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este.
2006 Lamborghini Concept S Rear Three Quarters

It’s not all classic cars at the sale, however, as a one-off 2006 Lamborghini Concept S is being offered. The Concept S is a polarizing split-seat open-top roadster that was based on a non-production concept back in 2005. An endeavoring collector commissioned the Concept S, and it was delivered to gauge customer demand.

The “Driven by Disruption” auction begins on December 10 in New York.
