I used to think that the only car capable of pulling off purple was the Dodge Challenger. A 1970 Challenger finished with Plum Crazy paintwork is a thing of beauty. Now there are two cars that can work this hue like no other. Say hello to the Pagani Huayra Dinastia, which is one of just three special edition versions of an already special car.
The Dinastia is a limited model bound for the Chinese market. This one is finished with purple carbon fiber bodywork laid over an interior done in turquoise. The 20- and 21-inch wheels are finished in gold. This all sounds like way too much, and it is, but it’s also perfect for a car like the Huayra.

A wild car deserves a wild color scheme.
According to Motor1, this Dinastia is fitted with the upgraded Pagani Tempesta handling package. That means the wheels are lighter and four-way adjustable Ohlins suspension sits at all four corners. Oddly, this car doesn’t wear the Tempesta front splitter, but it does have a bit of that turquoise coloring on the edges of the splitter to make it pop. It also wears a splash of that color on the side sills.
In the engine bay you’ll find the 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG sourced V-12 engine. It produces sonic joy and 730 horsepower. Unlike the 1970 Challenger, this Huayra can stop and go faster than most cars see their engines even chortle to life.
Purple on a hypercar? The Pagani Dinastia can certainly pull it off.
