Watch the Ariel Atom-Based Rezvani Beast Drift and Do Donuts

California manufacturer Rezvani made headlines recently with the unveiling of their Rezvani Beast, a re-skinned Ariel Atom with an imposing and aggressive appearance. Now, a new video from Rezvani highlights the knife-sharp Beast tearing around a race track at a recent photo shoot.

The sharp and angular skin on the Beast is not only for appearances. The new all-carbon fiber bodywork improves functional aerodynamic downforce, and protects the occupants from spray, rocks, and wind. While the bodywork does add weight, it’s not a substantial amount, with the total weight coming in around 1,470 pounds.

The Beast comes in two available trims, the 300 and the 500 model. In the 300, the Beast is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged Honda four-cylinder engine pushing out 315 hp. Hop up to the 500, and the engine is a twin-charged (supercharged and turbocharged) 2.4-liter Honda four-cylinder pushing out 500 hp. Even with the additional weight, the performance is monumental, with the 300 sprinting to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, and the 500 model taking just 2.7 seconds to hit 60.

The video of the Beast captured the low-slung roadster burning around a race track, kicking up plenty of smoke during perfectly executed donuts. Take a look at the insane Rezvani Beast in action in the video below.
