Watch the Aston Martin DB10 Lay Rubber Ahead of "Spectre" Debut

Before the DB10 hits the silver screen in “Spectre” later this year, Aston Martin is out to prove it is just the right car for James Bond.

The Aston Martin DB10 was built specifically for the new James Bond movie, following a design collaboration with the movie’s director Sam Mendes. Of the 10 copies that were produced, some are equipped with roll cages to allow stunt work while others serve as standard hero cars. Per the film team’s request, all are equipped with manual transmissions and come with a 4.7-liter V-8 engine borrowed from the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

But Aston Martin didn’t really need to release this video to show off what the DB10 is capable of. In movie trailers, we’ve already seen it keep pace with a Jaguar C-X75 supercar concept in a high speed chase and leap over exploding cars. To accompany the DB10, the movie will also feature the Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender Big Foot.

“Spectre” debuts in theaters November 6. Until then, check out the video below for a closer look at the new DB10 in action.
