CJ Pony Parts Ultra Orange Focus ST
Of the six Ford hot hatches, four are wildly-modified Focus STs. The first one, covered in “Ultra Orange Pearl” paint, is a showcase for CJ Pony Parts. (Pictured at top) Under the hood, a full Cobb tuning package is installed with full turbo piping, intercooler, and an upgraded turbo. A full air suspension, along with Cobb anti-roll bars and special Fifteen52 Tarmac R43 wheels give the orange hatch an aggressive stance.
Rally Innovations “Future of Rally” Focus ST
Ford handed a Focus over to Rally Innovations for a second SEMA showcar. The “Future of Rally” Focus features a radically modified exterior, with special widebody fender-flares and ground effects. An RS-R Sports coilover suspension lowers the car and features Whiteline camber adjustment plates in the front and the rear. A set of Rays 57 Xtreme wheels are wrapped in sticky Nitto NT555s, giving the ST a proper on-road footprint. Under the hood, a full intake and exhaust system from Greddy is installed, along with some additional tuning from Cobb. The interior receives a full rally treatment, including roll cage, race seats, and rear-seat delete.
Focus ST by Cobb Tuning
Ford turned to Cobb to create the ultimate cyclist’s performance car. The Cobb Focus ST features the same under-hood modifications as the CJ Pony Parts Focus, but includes a few other goodies, including the sound symposer delete and a turbo-back exhaust system. The Cobb Focus rides on a fully adjustable air suspension, along with a big brake kit and gold Rotiform wheels. On top of the car, a Thule ThruRide rack system allows for efficient and extremely quick bike transportation.
FSWERKS Focus ST
FSWERKS turned its Focus ST into what Ford calls a “balance of handling and power.” FSWERKS added a full intake and exhaust system, alongside a front mount intercooler, short-shift kit, and rear engine mount. To ensure the ST handles as sharply as it looks, a full H&R coilover suspension is included, along with a beefier anti-roll bar and anti-stress bar. A StopTech big brake kit sloughs off the speed effectively, hiding behind gold Rotiform monoblock LVS wheels.
Cinemotive Media Fiesta ST
Moving on to the two Ford Fiesta STs, Cinemotive Media turned their Fiesta into a high-performance support car, with a heap of go-fast bits crammed underneath the hood. Cobb provided the get-up-and-go gumption, with a chassis worked over by BC racing and Baer brakes. Exotic ADV.1 ADV5 wheels give the car plenty of aggression, and a full exterior carbon kit from Fifteen52 adds visual flair.
DSPORT Fiesta ST
Finally, DSPORT went all-out with its Fiesta, extracting a whopping 400 hp out of the tiny hatch’s 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine. A full top-down rebuild with forged internals, an uprated fuel system, and a larger turbo means the DSPORT Fiesta is ready to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car class at a detuned 300 hp. To rein in this abundance of power and speed, the DSPORT Fiesta wears massive Wilwood front and rear brakes and Volk TE37 racing wheels. Pirelli P-Zero racing slicks keep the car on the track, with special aerodynamic touches added to the exterior. On the inside, a racing-spec eight-point roll cage was installed, alongside tight Sparco seats.
