W Motors Reveals 900-HP Fenyr SuperSport Hypercar

Remember W Motor’s first supercar offering, the Lykan Hypersports? Probably not, as the HyperSports was limited to just seven units, and never made it to our shores, despite holding a starring role in the recent Fast and Furious 7. Now, the Dubai-based company pulled the cover off its newest creation, the Fenyr SuperSport.
Similar to the Lykan, the Fenyr packs a powertrain with tremendous power and torque. Once again, W Motors turned to the Porsche-tuning madmen at RUF to create the motivation for the Fenyr. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine provides an astounding 900 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque to give the Fenyr staggering performance, with 0-60 mph occurring in just 2.7 seconds, rocketing its way to a claimed top speed of 248 mph.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. Weight is kept at a minimum, with extensive use of carbon fiber and a tubular aluminum chassis. To rein in all that momentum, the Fenyr packs carbon ceramic brakes on all four corners.

While the Lykan HyperSport made headlines for its uber-exclusive production run of seven units, with a similarly exclusive price tag of $3,400,000, the Fenyr will be limited to 25 units per year, meaning you just may have a chance to actually see one if you frequent the hottest areas of Dubai, Monaco, and Shanghai.
